Chew Su-Jin

Su-Jin's work is often inspired by the textural beauty of nature and organic forms that she sees around her. She has made pottery in various studios over the years, but for the most part, in her garage studio. Whilst some of her works are thrown on the wheel, Su-Jin derives the most satisfaction from handbuilding. Her work is guided by instinct, and the resulting naturalities in the shapes of her works add an organic element and character to each of them.

Simple forms and earthy tones predominate.
